What Are the Best Mascara Makeup Products?

Ilia Limitless Lash Mascara

Ilia Limitless Lash mascara is one of my all-time favorite top five mascaras. I have never, not gotten compliments, on my lashes when wearing this. The best part is, it’s clean beauty, so there won’t be any nasty chemicals on your lashes. This mascara makes your lashes look long and volumized WITHOUT clumping. Do you know how hard that is to find in a mascara? It stays on ALL day with NO smudges, but it is so easy to take off at night. This is the best mascara out there and I 100 percent recommend you go buy this right now!  This stays on all day! Mixing this mascara with Loreal Telescopic mascara will make your lashes look like the best in the room! After putting on one coat of Ilia Limitless use Loreal Telescopic as a topcoat and your all set!

Loreal Telescopic Mascara

Loreal Telescopic Mascara is the “all-time” of lengthening mascaras. If you want your eyelashes to be longer than ever, this is the mascara for you! It’s all about long defined lashes for this mascara. The brush is insanely precise to make sure there are absolutely no clumps. It stays on ALL day. It will last through sweat, tears, and way more. It’s also a perfect mascara for layering. I love to mix this mascara with ilia just to seal the deal. After putting on ilia just use this as a topcoat and your set!

Enhance lashes with lash separation and intense length. With Telescopics’ precision brush, you can increase your lashes by up to 60%, while using the opposite side of the mascara brush to comb your lashes, making them clump-free.

What I enjoy the most about Telescopic mascara is its fragrance-free approach, making it an excellent option for women with sensitive eyes. In addition, you can easily remove Telescopic mascara with soap and water.

Benefit Cosmetics Fan Fest Fanning And Volumizing Mascara

Benefit Fan Fest mascara is like a dream come true. This mascara is perfect for dramatic looks on nights out. The formula is insanely long lasting and gives intense volume. NO CLUMPS! The brush is perfectly designed to get to every lash and make them longer and fuller. If you want lashes to stand out, this is the one for you!

I love to layer my mascaras. This mascara goes really well with Ilia Limitless and Loreal Telescopic mascara. Use 1 thin layer of Loreal Telescopic first, next apply 2 layers of Fan Fest, and end with a layer of Ilia. It truly is the best combo out there. Don’t get me wrong, this mascara is also amazing on it’s own.

It’s flexible fiber brush, can grab each lash from the corner of your eye, creating effortless separation and definition. No matter what’s on the schedule for the day, I can guarantee this mascara will stay put with it’s water-resistant and smudge-proof capabilities.

If you use this mascara solo, I recommend only using one or two coats to avoid clumping. Since this mascara has a thicker brush, it may seem like a challenge to apply at first, but once you’re past the learning curve, I know you’ll love it.

Hourglass Unlocked

Hourglass Unlocked mascara is so good. If you hate taking mascara off at the end of the night this is the one for you. It’s a tubing formula,, so it’s super easy to take off. The mascara formula wraps around each lash making them long and separated. It feels very lightweight which makes it easy to wear all day and not flake. If you want lashes that are on fire and want super easy removal, get this mascara ASAP. Honestly, this mascara is the best on its own, not mixed with other mascaras.

Yves Saint Laurent Lash Clash

Want the promise of big lashes that deliver? Yves Saint Laurent Lash Clash lives up to it’s hype. It’s plumping formula gives me natural-looking volume after only one application. With three color options, electric blue, brown, and black, Yves Saint Laurent mascara provides intense pigment and long-lasting wear.

I’ve found this is one of the easier mascaras to apply, giving me voluminous and full lashes from top to bottom. It’s drying formula and long-lasting coverage stayed on during a hectic day and came off quickly when removed at bedtime.

FAQs For Today’s Best Mascara Makeup Products:

What is the best mascara for sensitive eyes?

The best mascaras for sensitive eyes are hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, and ophthalmologist-tested to minimize irritation. Popular options include Clinique High Impact Mascara, Almay Lengthening Mascara, and Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes. These formulas avoid harsh preservatives and use gentler ingredients that won’t sting or cause redness. Tubing mascaras, like Blinc Mascara, are also excellent because they form water-resistant “tubes” around each lash and remove easily with warm water—reducing the need for rubbing. Always patch test if your eyes react easily.

What is the best mascara for length and volume?

Two of the best mascaras to add length and volume are Loreal Telescopic, and Hourglass Unlocked mascara. For dramatic lash length, look for mascaras with fiber-enhancing or tubing formulas that adhere to the lash tips. Top performers include L’Oréal Telescopic Lift, Benefit They’re Real! Lengthening Mascara, and Lancôme Définicils. These mascaras separate, extend, and define without heavy clumping, giving a natural but noticeably longer look. Applying two thin coats, focusing on the outer lashes, enhances the effect even more. Lengthening mascaras work best when paired with a clean lash base and a precise wand.

What is the best mascara for older women?

For older women, the best mascaras add definition without clumping, flaking, or weighing down the lashes. Lightweight formulas like Lancôme Définicils, IT Cosmetics Hello Lashes, and Clinique Lash Power Mascara are popular choices because they provide lift, separation, and a natural finish. Tubing mascaras are especially helpful since they resist smudging on crepey lids and remove easily without tugging delicate skin. Look for formulas that condition lashes with peptides or panthenol to support thinning or fragile lashes.

What are the top 5 mascaras?

The top five mascaras are Ilia Limitless, Benefits Cosmetics Fan Fest, Hourglass Unlocked, Loreal Telescopic, and Yves Saint Laurent Lash Clash.

What is the best Mascara at Ulta?

My fav mascaras from Ulta are Loreal Telescopic, Benefit, Hourglass, and Ilia mascara.

What is the best drugstore mascara for volume and length?

In my opinion, the best drugstore mascara for volume and length is Covergirl Lash Blast for volume and Loreal Telescopic for length.

Is expensive mascara worth it?

While many luxury mascaras live up to their name, the ultimate test is, “Does it work for you?” Personally, I love certain luxury and drug store mascaras both.

How many layers of mascara should you wear?

For a quick and easy way to enhance length and volume, you should wear approximately two fine coats of mascara, unless you layer different brands. Here are some top brand picks according to Vogue.

How can you remove waterproof mascara?

Removing waterproof mascara requires an oil-based makeup remover or micellar water formulated for long-wear products. Oils such as coconut, olive, or jojoba also work well because they break down the waxes and polymers in waterproof formulas. Apply the remover to a cotton pad, press it gently against your lashes for 10–15 seconds, then wipe downward without rubbing harshly. Repeat until clean, and follow with a gentle cleanser to remove any residue. This method prevents lash breakage and irritation.

How long does mascara last?

Mascara typically lasts three to six months after opening. Because the wand is exposed to air and the eye area, bacteria can accumulate quickly, making older mascara more prone to clumping, dryness, and potential eye irritation. If the formula begins to smell different, thicken noticeably, or flake more than usual, it’s time to replace it. To extend life, avoid pumping the wand—which introduces excess air—and store the tube tightly sealed. Fresh mascara ensures better performance and safer eye health.

How to get mascara out of clothes?

To remove mascara from clothes, start by gently scraping off any excess without rubbing it deeper into the fabric. Apply a small amount of liquid dish soap, laundry detergent, or stain remover directly to the stain and let it sit for 5–10 minutes. Gently dab with warm water and blot until the mascara lifts. For waterproof formulas, use a makeup-removing wipe or micellar water before washing. Avoid putting the fabric in the dryer until the stain is fully gone.

How to take off mascara?

To remove mascara safely, use a gentle eye makeup remover, micellar water, or cleansing oil. Saturate a cotton pad and hold it against your lashes for 10–15 seconds to dissolve the formula. Then wipe downward following the natural lash direction. Repeat as needed without tugging or scrubbing. Rinse with a mild cleanser to eliminate residue, and finish with an eye-safe moisturizer or lash serum to keep the area hydrated. This method preserves lash health and reduces irritation.
